Upstairs the master bedroom is tastefully decorated, the kingsize bed is dressed with crisp linen, with Smart TV and walk-in wardrobe. The cobbled market square and quirky lanes leading off, have an abundance of independent shops, galleries and coffee spots. You can enjoy a hearty breakfast or evening meal, with a selection of excellent places to eat. The Norman castle dominates the skyline and a great place to start exploring.
Millgate leads down to the riverside and waterfalls, or meander around the town, take a picnic or enjoy a walk to nearby Easby Abbey.
