This charming 1930s pet-friendly bungalow is in a unique setting with year-round appeal. With its distinctive red and green flecked roof tiles and owned by the same family since 1937, the family-friendly bungalow retains many features typical of its era which the owners are keen to preserve, but with the addition of all modern-day comforts. Sinks and bath are original but are carefully maintained.
The sitting room has an open fire and original wood panelling - comfortable and warm whatever the weather! Patio doors open onto a veranda overlooking the garden, coastline, and bay beyond. The garden is not wholly escape-proof for dogs but is big enough to keep them well exercised. The cosy kitchen is full of character, there is a walk-in pantry as well as a dining area with triple aspect windows (fabulous views) and a large dining table for relaxing family meals. Set in a large private garden, a 3-minute walk down its own steep driveway leads you to the beach, with no dog restrictions, and a popular traditional family pub serving food and refreshments throughout the year, also dog-friendly.
Enjoy fabulous views from the large living/games/studio outdoor room in the garden, carefully constructed to blend with the house - oak flooring, table tennis table, seating & TV. Shower/toilet with underfloor heating.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path (part of the All Wales Path) runs through the Bay with its glorious walking and South Pembrokeshire’s beautiful beaches are all nearby - Saundersfoot, Amroth and the Jewel of Pembrokeshire, Georgian Tenby.
