Moray Firth View is an excellent, spacious sea view apartment in Nairn. The views out across the Moray Firth are mesmerising; from the second floor apartment and balcony you can see for miles across the Firth to the Black Isle in the north as well as along Nairn’s beaches to the Culbin Forest and Dunes in the east. The apartment is an especially good spot from which to watch wildlife, most notably the resident pod of bottlenose dolphins. Usually on a rising tide, the dolphins can be seen close to shore, along the beach and at the Nairn river mouth. You’ll be using the apartment binoculars a lot during your stay!
Nairn Beach is only a minute’s walk from the apartment, simply down the stairs and past the fantastic Strathnairn Beach Café, where you’ll no doubt sample the fabulous local seafood, cakes and ice cream, right beside the sand. The beach is very popular for stand up paddle boarding, open water swimming and other watersports. The Historic Nairn and Nairn Dunbar Golf Clubs are only a few minutes away along the coast, and there are many other outstanding courses nearby to play. The apartment is a great base for keen golfers, or anyone else to be honest. The town is a former Royal Burgh and has history on every corner to soak up, and being a decent size, Nairn has everything you’ll want during a stay.
Nairn is also an excellent base because there’s so much to do in the wider area. The Moray Coast Trail and The Whisky Trail are nearby, and there are countless brilliant hiking and biking trails surrounding the town. Hopping in the car though really puts a spotlight on Nairn as a brilliant base in the Highlands, as within 30 minutes from Moray Firth View, you can be in the Cairngorms National Park, strolling the shores of Loch Ness, or exploring the NC500 touring route, to name just a few options. From Nairn you can explore a different part of the Highlands every day of your holiday. With Moray Firth View being so nice though, you’ll want to stay put in Nairn to enjoy the apartment, its views and the close proximity to the beach. Beach 110 yards, pub within a mile.
