Discover this wonderful area from the delightful Morlogws Farm Holiday Cottages, set down a private farm lane, within a wooded valley at the heart of Morlogws Farm, a working dairy farm, amongst the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside. The Farmhouse is one of three beautiful properties that can be enjoyed by family and friends alike. You can wake up in the morning and go for a few lengths in the shared, indoor swimming pool or relax in the shared hot tub before a busy day out exploring West Wales. Your little ones will also have plenty to do with an indoor games room complete with a pool table, air flow hockey and table tennis, or for the more energetic, some gym equipment can be found on-site. The Farmhouse is one of three cottages set on the farm, with views across the pond and meadows beyond. It was once the original farm house for Morlogws, and has been lovingly renovated whilst still capturing the original character and features. Original beams and quarry tiles can be found in the living room, which leads through to the farmhouse kitchen. On the first floor each of the three bedrooms are spacious and have been lovingly furnished with your comfort in mind.
A short drive away is the picture-postcard rural hamlet of Cwm Morgan, where the River Cych meanders through offering some stunning walks. The historic market town Newcastle Emlyn is only a 10-minute drive away and offers a plethora of eateries specializing in organic produce and locally brewed ales, along with boutique and gift shops. Travelling north you will find the coastal town of Cardigan. A trip to Cardigan Castle is a must, where you can take a step back in time before enjoying some lunch at the on-site café. The meandering River Teifi runs through the town into Cardigan Bay, renowned for its great salmon fishing. Further inland is the village of Cenarth with its waterfalls is worth a visit, just for the chance to watch the salmon leaping upstream. Poppit beach, Mwnt, Aberporth and New Quay are all within a 30-minute drive and make a perfect beach day for swimmers, sandcastle building, kayaking or just relaxing. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 6 miles.
