Located in the centre of the village of Lelant, which is bound by the Hayle Estuary to the east and the sweep of St Ives Bay to the north, Morvoren Cottage is the perfect holiday retreat for a family or a group of friends to relax, unwind and enjoy quality time together. The open plan living area on the ground floor is comfortably furnished and the kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday. The cosy living area has a wood burner which is perfect for a warm welcome and cosy nights in. Head upstairs to the two beautifully appointed bedrooms, one of which has a super kingsize bed, the other has a kingsize zip and link bed, which can be twin beds on request. The shower room is located on the ground floor, just a couple of steps up from the kitchen. Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed lawned garden at the back of the property, where there is also a lovely decking area where guests can relax and enjoy refreshments in the sun. There is plenty of on road parking, and you are welcome to bring two pets. The garden is fully enclosed for dogs and there is an outdoor hose for washing them down after a walk.
The local pub is just a short walk up the road and there are various other restaurants close by. The beautiful sandy beach at Porthkidney is just a 20-minute walk away and is also dog friendly. You can hop on the scenic coastal railway service from Lelant in to the picturesque town and harbour of St Ives, with its waterfront restaurants and wealth of art galleries including the Tate Modern and Barbra Hepworth Museum. Explore the winding streets with some amazing individual shops, or take a walk on the coastal path then relax on one of the gorgeous sandy beaches and enjoy beautiful views of St Ives and Carbis Bay. The historic town of Marazion is nearby, and magical St Michael’s Mount perched on its rocky outcrop can be reached on foot by causeway at low tide, or by small boat at high tide.
