There are three safari lodges to choose from. Mountain Lodge (UK41053) and Pump House Lodge (UK41054) both sleep six and have three bedrooms (a double, a twin and bunk bed), bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area with log burner and a large outside seating area. Mountain lodge also offers a private hot tub on the outside deck.
Breidden Lodge (UK41037) is a double height safari lodge and sleeps up to eight people, with all the bedrooms on the ground floor and each room offering twin beds in each and two ground floor bathrooms. The upstairs is very spacious and open plan, featuring the same as the other two along with a large balcony to enjoy the gorgeous views and a deluxe private hot tub on the lower decking area.
Each interior is stylish and elegant in its decoration and furnishings, with the open plan lounge acting as the social hub. A wood burner and underfloor heating keeps the lodges toasty and warm. This flows into a dining area and a fully equipped modern kitchen, fitted with a hob, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need.
The natural woodland is responsibly maintained, with the lodges designed to have as little impact on their environment and the wildlife as possible. Those staying can sit back with a drink and take it all in or choose to explore a little further afield with many great walks right on the doorstep. There are also great pubs and restaurants nearby.
Meanwhile, there is plenty to discover in the thriving county of Shropshire. Close to the border with Wales, Oswestry is an historic market town which has kept much of its character and charm and only three miles away. Offering a variety of different attractions from a weekly market, or there’s Cambrian Railways Heritage Museum, where you can see operational carriages and exhibits which tell the history of the Cambrian Railways Company.
The British Ironwork Centre is an especially fascinating attraction just outside of Oswestry too. Close to Oswestry is Park Hall Countryside Experience where daily pig racing, cow milking and play facilities keep families entertained for hours. The British Ironworks, Techniquest Glyndwr, Chester Zoo and The Blue Planet Aquarium are all within driving distance and provide great days out.
There’s plenty to see and do around, even taking a day trip to Shrewsbury, or hopping across the border to Wales, you’ll certainly never be bored whilst staying at Sweeney Farm Glamping.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests.
