This area is on the Coast-to-Coast cycle route and offers something for cyclists of all abilities. Walkers will find paths from the door and immediate access to the picturesque landscape of this much-loved area.

Alternatively, head east up to Alston, one of the highest market towns in England, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, Lakeland Fells and beyond.
