With stunning views over Tremadoc Bay and views towards Snowdon, this cottage, situated in Harlech, is the perfect getaway to explore some of the finest beaches Wales has to offer. Harlech beach has a 4-mile stretch of beautiful golden sands and the only growing dune system in Wales. Majestically towering over the dunes is also the historical UNESCO World Heritage castle. Steeped in history, it is worth a visit via the incredible ‘floating’ footbridge. For avid walkers, Harlech offers an abundance of paths and trails to follow. Between Harlech and Llandanwg, you’ll find the infamous ‘Zig Zag’ beach path. Although not the easiest paths to take, the views from the top are truly breath-taking. You can also discover the magical Meririon’s story and follow the 2-mile trail to visit the five storytelling chairs in Harlech.
If trekking the great outdoors isn’t for you, Harlech also has a lovely high-street lined with independent shops that offer one-of-a-kind gifts. Visit the independent grocery store and delicatessen, selling the best of Welsh produce including award-winning artisan cheeses, and fresh bread and sweet pastries baked daily in store.
With Snowdon being less than 20 miles away, this cottage is also a fantastic base for exploring all that Snowdonia National Park has to offer. Choose from six routes to tackle the highest mountain in Wales, get your adrenaline going at Europe’s largest zip wire zone or dive into Bounce Below on the trampolines deep underground. North Wales has so much to offer, and there is something for families of all ages to enjoy. Beach 3 miles
