Penmorgan is a traditional detached Welsh stone cottage near the hamlet of Rosebush, a former slate mining area. It is set on the owner’s small beef farm and on the doorstep of many fantastic walks with lots of wildlife. Penmorgan has been thoughtfully furnished throughout and offers you the chance to immerse yourself in this charming and characterful property. The living/dining room has a wood burner within a beautifully restored inglenook fireplace. Enjoy an evening watching the sunset from your patio with a good book or a glass of wine.
A ten-minute drive away is Llys-y-Frân Country Park with walks, cycling, boating, fishing and not forgetting great bird watching. Travelling 15 minutes south you can explore the quaint market town of Narberth bursting with craft and antique shops, and enjoy a relaxing lunch in one of the many restaurants specialising in local organic produce. Close to Narberth is Wales’ largest theme park Oakwood with a host of roller coasters. The seaside resort of Tenby is a 40-minute drive from Penmorgan. This historic walled town and its cobbled streets are sure to get your holiday off to the perfect start. Here you can enjoy the finest fresh fish cooked to perfection within many of the traditional Welsh eateries found in the town. Enjoy a boat trip to Caldey Island to see the Cistercian monks, or a family fishing trip and then finish the day on Tenby South beach which has been voted Europe’s best beach.
