A wonderful detached riverside chalet, with its own river frontage. All on one level it has an open plan living space with large windows, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the amazing waterside activity, rich with wildlife. Here, herons and kingfisher can frequently be seen, or you can simply watch the boats sail by.
You could rent a day boat or dinghy (subject to availability), the best way to explore the waterways. Brundall lies on the southern rivers of the Norfolk Broads National Park, and the lodge is conveniently within walking distance of both a pub serving food and a railway station. Within the village itself, 1 mile away, there is a supermarket, basic amenities and another pub serving food.
You can fish off your own quay heading (licence required), or embark on some great walking or cycling routes in the surrounding area. The coast is a short drive away where you can enjoy Great Yarmouth, with its traditional seaside experience, or perhaps the sandy dunes of Winterton-on-Sea with tern and seal colonies, an incredible sight. Jump on the train to visit the fine city of Norwich, boasting a theatre, castle museum, cathedral and excellent shopping, with two indoor shopping malls, market square, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
