The ancient Medieval town of Glastonbury is nearby with its wonderful eclectic shops and its Tor that can be seen for miles around, as well as the famous Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm which is only a mile away. For more designer bargains, head to Street with its wonderful Clarks Village outlet. Just a 5-minute drive away is The Bath and West showground which is home to many events throughout the year, from its classic Royal Bath and West show to Car Festivals and home exhibitions. Cheddar, with its gorge and Wookey Hole caves are easily reached in under 30 minutes by car.
