With en-suite bedrooms downstairs, both with linked beds and open plan living area on first floor. The kitchen has pale green kitchen units, dining table and chairs and a lovely leather chesterfield and extra quirky chairs picked for their fun appeal, along with a wall mounted Smart TV. Outside, there is communal seating area at the front with lawn and garden furniture. Each cottage has its own skittle/bowling set.
Plas Marion Properties are totally separate from each other, each with its own dedicated parking area and outside space. However, if a family gathering, wedding or reunion is planned, the three properties can be hired together to sleep a total of 18.
The Malltraeth to Newburough Warren Nature Reserve is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Look out for the red squirrel that thrives on the island now the greys have almost been completely eradicated. Walk along Newborough’s lovely beach and cross over to Llanddwyn Island reached by a causeway except at high tide. From here you have incredible views across the Menai Straits to Snowdonia. A few miles up the coast is Aberffaw’s superb sandy beach and bird-filled estuary. Surfers will gravitate towards Rhosneigr where the waves are the best on offer in North Wales and sunbathers will enjoy picking their favourite rocky cove.
Plas Newydd (National Trust) home of the Marquis of Anglesey and situated on the Menai Straits right at the water’s edge is a splendid location with gardens to explore and enjoy throughout the year with woodland walks and children’s treehouse. Interesting interiors with murals by Rex Whistler covering several walls. Ucheldre at Holyhead is an art centre with concerts, plays and the latest films.
LLoft Storws can be booked together with Hendy Plas Marion (Ref 1340) and Stabal (Ref 1341) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
