Settled just outside the secluded village of Llanwddyn, twenty miles south-west of Oswestry is this lovely pod, Celyn Bach. Perfect for a couple looking for a romantic stay away from the hustle and bustle, or friends seeking a break away. The pod offers parking to the side, for your convenience. The studio-style layout offers a handy kitchenette, where you can find the essentials needed to make tasty treats. A cosy double bed to enjoy a decent night’s sleep, along with a double sofa bed, to accommodate flexible sleeping arrangements. In the morning, make your way into the en-suite shower room for a refreshing rinse and venture outside to soak up those gorgeous views of the countryside. The pod is tucked away in a large, enclosed meadow and offers raised concrete decking, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the views and hear only the sounds of nature.

Just a stone’s throw away is Lake Vyrnwy, a Victorian dam constructed in the 1880s in the Vyrnwy Valley to supply fresh water to Liverpool. Experience the walks and trails of the 24,000-acre RSPB Reserve, with viewpoints and hides around the lake to observe the amazing variety of birds and scenery. There are plenty of activities too, including boating, adventure activities, cycle hire, walking and horse trails. There are local craft shops to visit and excellent places to eat.

Oswestry, renowned for its bustling market, independent shops and café culture, is a great place to enjoy a day out and only a 20-minute drive away. Further afield lies Ellesmere, the town is quiet and quite charming. Shopping is traditional with independent shops and a market, and you can stroll from mere to town and then to the wharfage and out along the canal towpaths. Wem, Whitchurch and Market Drayton, all lovely north Shropshire towns to explore that way too. An unforgettable stay for you and your loved one awaits at Celyn Bach.
Celyn Bach can be booked together with Cae Bitfel (UK37082) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
