Make sure you visit the wide sweeping beach of Mounts Bay, with St Michaels Mount rising from the sea on its rocky island, and overlooking the historic town of Marazion with its small shops, art galleries and tea rooms. St Michaels Mount is open daily to the public and can be reached on foot by causeway at low tide, or by a small ferry boat at high tide. Beach 50 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
