The first floor has a family shower room, dressing room and double bedroom with the second floor offering a twin room. Due to steep stairs, this cottage may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, or very young children.
It is centrally located in the picturesque fishing village of Flookburgh, situated on the shores of Morecambe Bay, which offers a good range of shops, including a post office, pharmacy, bakery, public house, general store and fish and chip shop. Cark & Cartmel Railway Station is only a 10 minute walk from the cottage where you can travel by train on the Furness line, which runs between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster. The village also benefits from a bus service between Grange-over-Sands and Kendal.
