So where could you visit? Start at the beautiful Talland Bay Beach, flanked by hills and consisting of two beaches that at low tide reveal small coves and tidal pools for swimming. The picturesque fishing port of Looe is a mere 9-minute drive away with its charming narrow streets, boutique shops, and beaches along with pubs and restaurants. A short trip along the coast, discover Polperro, an ancient port with long past links to smuggling and wrecking, quaint little cottages, and a beautiful harbour. The beaches along this stretch of coastline are many; stretches of golden sand interspersed with wonderful countryside, coastal paths, and trails, including The Rame Head Heritage Coast.
Stunning Fowey, with its Georgian and medieval architecture sitting side by side is a popular haven for sailing enthusiasts, sitting aside its own estuary, while inland, the market town of Liskeard offers many amenities, including shops and banks, pubs, and bars. You will feel very welcome at Granite Henge, the name a clue to the impressive stone structures set within the grounds. A small complex, there is a shared outdoor, heated pool, open from May to September and with loungers and seating, ideal for when you return from a day of adventures or just to unwind.
Once inside your holiday home, all on one level, there is an open plan living, dining, and kitchen space, thoughtfully decorated throughout to evoke a warm inviting feel. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a light breakfast or hearty meal and has a bright and airy feel. The two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second a twin, are complimented by a family bathroom, with a cubicle shower. Outside, just a few meters away, a lovely, shared patio area, complete with chairs and tables is ideal for morning coffee. There is another slightly smaller area with similar seating available for guests too. Beach 2 miles.
