The nearby forestry offers breath-taking views of the valley, beautiful hiking trails, and glistening waterfalls. So, whether you’re going for a wild dip in the waterfall lakes, exploring caves and gorges, or rock climbing the famous Dinas Rock – there’s plenty to keep you busy! With all this on your doorstep you’ll be wishing you booked a longer break.
If you do have time to pack in some more activities, then South Wales has lots to offer. In less than 30 minutes by car you could be at Bike Park Wales for some mountain biking or Zip World Tower to take on the world’s fastest seated zip! After an activity packed day, you’ll need to refuel – there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and take aways nearby, some just a short walk from site!
The accommodation itself is a step up from camping! The spacious layout has everything you need with a double bed, en-suite shower room, seating area and a well-equipped kitchenette. There’s a TV and Wi-Fi for an extra touch of home comforts. River Pod is also pet friendly so feel free to bring your furry friend along. Outside each pod is a parking space, boot box, and a decked balcony. Whilst the accommodation is completely self-contained, there are extra communal facilities should you wish to use them. Communal facilities include a washing up room, recycling area, firepit and BBQ area. Beach 19 miles. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
