With plenty of cycle routes and footpaths leading from the property and through the town, it’s a great area to discover without the car. Spend a lazy Sunday afternoon listening to the band play at the Victorian bandstand in the local park (June-September) or enjoy the annual boat festival in July. Take a visit to Shakespeare’s Stratford-Upon-Avon, where you can visit his birthplace, and watch a play at the theatre. There are many independent and high street shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms all within 15 miles. The cathedral city of Worcester, also famous for its Royal Worcester pottery, is 16 miles and Cheltenham with its famous festival is 15 miles. You can be in the heart of the Cotswolds within 6 miles.
