The Drey is perfectly located on this quiet residential country park set between the woodland of Wansbeck Riverside Park Nature Reserve and the banks of the River Wansbeck. Ideal for couples or a small family. The park gained Local Nature Reserve status in 2007 and visitors have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife such as birds, rabbits, roe deer and red squirrels. The location is ideal set on the banks of the river, perfect for paddle boards and kayaks which can be launched from the nearby slipway (no motors). Cyclists will enjoy being close to cycle routes, whilst walkers can enjoy following the river to the east. The on-site café is popular with locals and is open daily with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
