Roseanna Cottage is a rural, terraced holiday cottage in the lovely village of Middleton, and is close to the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast. This contemporary house is decorated to a good standard, with quality furnishings used throughout. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a cosy electric ‘wood burner’. The kitchen/dining room is well equipped to rustle up a hearty meal or a lunchtime snack. Take the turning stairs up to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms, one with a four poster bed, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Venturing outside there is ample parking and a large enclosed garden, making Roseanna Cottage an ideal holiday home for couples or small families.
Typical of houses in the area, some are whitewashed and many with red tiled roofs giving the area a rustic and authentic feel. Situated in the village of Middleton, you are just 3 miles inland from the North Sea.
Ideally located for those wishing to be near to Minsmere RSPB Nature Reserve where it is possible to see otters, wading birds and nesting birds amongst the reed bed pools. The pretty village of Thorpeness is just over 5 miles away with a windmill and village pond with resident swans. You can even hire a small rowing boat on the pond.
The tiny village of Dunwich, also known as ‘the lost city of England’, is steeped in history and was once a thriving medieval port. Today you can learn about its fascinating history or visit the expanse of forest, heath and beach.
Suffolk has so much to offer so why not book your break today. Beach 4 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
