Rosedean is a fantastic property with most of its living and sleeping areas on the ground floor enabling easy access for most. Positioned in the desirable village of Ireby, near Bassenthwaite you’ll love the rural village lifestyle. With an amazing country pub just down a quiet road, this idyllic village setting offers easy access to Cockermouth, Bassenthwaite, Keswick and the Northern Fells. For sleeping arrangements there is a kingsize bedroom with comfortable bed, plus a double bedroom with en-suite shower room on the ground floor with plenty of storage and hanging space, plus there’s a ground floor family bathroom. On the first floor, there is the third bedroom with twin beds. Back on the ground floor you find the open plan living/dining/kitchen area all wrapped around the wood burner. You can relax on the sofas in front of the Smart TV and wood burner or get together for a meal in the kitchen which has all the appliances that you will need.
This charming property is nestled in the centre of the quiet, picturesque village of Ireby near Caldbeck and Uldale. Ireby is right on the border of the Lake District National Park, in fact the border crosses about twenty steps from the door. From here there are lovely walks and cycle routes nearby. If you love the outdoors, this village is in a prime location, well connected by the road networks, you’re just a short drive to many of the amazing towns and tourist hotspots that the Northern Lakes has to offer. Just 10 minutes to Bassenthwaite, 5 miles, 20 minutes to Keswick and Cockermouth, 12 miles. If you fancy being more active, the Lake District Fells’ renowned walking and cycling trails are on your doorstep offering both gentle and more challenging endeavours enabling you to take in the abundance of birds and wildlife this area has to offer. The historic, alluring village of Bassenthwaite with its magnificent lake and access to Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England, is a 10-minute drive. The village is served by a farm shop selling fresh milk and seasonal produce. Beach 15 miles.
