This beautiful cottage is nestled within open countryside and close to the much sought-after seaside village of Thornham. Newly refurbished (2022) and lovingly renovated to provide a taste of seaside luxury. This beautiful cottage has a terrific private lawn garden with your very own hot tub to enjoy. The living room has comfy sofas and the wood burner is perfect to cosy beside during the cooler evenings. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare all meals, and the dining table is perfect to celebrate any occasion in style. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have Jack and Jill access to the en-suite shower room.
Nearby the local farm shops provide fresh produce, and fresh shellfish and seafood is available locally. For those seeking to eat out, there are plenty of choices, having so many eateries and gastro pubs in the nearby surrounding area which is noted for its natural beauty, bird and wildlife.
Thornham is a charming, picturesque and quiet village, close to the old harbour and sea, and is surrounded by open countryside. You have countryside paths and trails to explore direct from the doorstep. Explore the many lovely ancient trackways and coastal walks along dunes and sweeping beaches, with bird watching available at nearby Titchwell, Redwell Marsh and Scolt Head Nature Reserves. There are three traditional pub/restaurants in the village serving excellent food, and why not enjoy the local real ales too? The friendly village deli/shop provides for day-to-day needs of groceries and newspapers and there is also a bistro.

A well-equipped play area is available near to the deli, and a tennis court is available for hire within the village (racquets and balls not supplied). Holkham beach is 11 miles away and the charming old world seaside town of Hunstanton, 14 minutes’ drive, has plenty of family entertainment, including beach front amusements, a fun fair, a swimming pool, a bowling alley, bandstand concerts on the green, Sea Life Centre, shops, eateries and a supermarket.
Further along the coast road are many old villages and market towns to explore, such as Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market, Holt and the birthplace of Nelson, Burnham Thorpe, where the parish church lectern is said to be made from timbers taken from his ship HMS Victory. Nearby stately homes with gardens are open to the public, such as Houghton, Holkham and the Queen’s country estate at Sandringham. Brancaster Staithe is available for dinghy sailing, sailboard hire (tuition available) and boat trips, including seal watching. There are two local golf courses that welcome good players. Beach 1½ mile. Shop and pubs 1½ miles.
