Close by to this holiday home is Hornsea Mere - a large, natural lake that offers water activities, whilst for a little retail therapy, there is Hornsea Freeport retail outlet. The surrounding area has much to offer the holiday maker, with the high, chalk cliffs at Bempton, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, home to colonies of sea birds and the Spurn Point Nature Reserve. The unspoilt rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds offers miles of walking and cycling opportunities and the stately homes and gardens of Wassand Hall, Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall are waiting to be explored.
