A delightful property set within walking distance of Brixham town centre and the harbour. Situated in an elevated position in a quiet residential area of Brixham, with panoramic views of the town with its many brightly coloured cottages. Contemporary in design and tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, it is set over three levels, with the kitchen/dining room on the lower ground floor. The south-facing living room, on the ground floor, opens onto a lovely balcony with table and chairs, which overlooks the enclosed garden. Brixham is a lovely seaside town and is still one of the busiest working fishing harbours in the area. The harbour is full of little fishing boats and trawlers and some of the best fish and chips can be enjoyed here. The town offers all the usual tourist shops along with many restaurants and coffee shops, and has a regular bus service which will be able to take you into Goodrington, Paignton and Torquay without having to use your car. There is so much here for all the family to enjoy, including the water park at Goodrington, Paignton Zoo and living coast at Torquay. There are also many other quieter days out such as Greenway Mansion, the home of Agatha Christie, or taking the steam train trip up to Buckfastleigh and visit the otter and butterfly sanctuary. Car and passenger ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth 1 mile. Totnes 8 miles. Shops ¼ mile, pub 200 yards.
