The beach is over 7 miles long and has a 10-mile traffic free promenade along it which takes you to Bournemouth, 3½ miles and beyond. Council sponsored Electric bike and scooter hire is available close to the apartment and can be used all over the Poole and Bournemouth area and can be left again at any one of 340 designated spots.
Sandbanks8 has a large living room with plenty of light, plus patio doors out to the balcony. There is a large well-equipped kitchen. Bedroom 1 is a kingsize en-suite, whilst bedroom 2 has zip and link twin beds, and there is a family bathroom. The lounge, kitchen and main bedroom all have views of the sea between the beach-front houses across the road. A welcome box of tea, coffee and biscuits is provided for our guests, as well as a cleaning pack with dishwasher tablets, sponges etc. We also provide a picnic hamper, beach rug, along with beach chairs and wind break for you to use. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, but don’t worry as there is a lift from your reserved parking space at the rear of the apartment.

At the tip of the peninsular, the Sandbanks chain ferry connects you to Studland and lovely countryside, while the iconic yellow foot ferry will take you to National Trust’s Brownsea Island to explore. Sandbanks is also world renowned for its water sports. The shallow and sheltered harbour on one side of the peninsula is perfect for anyone wanting to learn kitesurfing, kite boarding, windsurfing or trying paddle boarding or kayaking for the first time, while the higher wind and waves on the other side of the peninsula offers a perfect environment for the more experienced. It is also perfect for food lovers as it is less than 100 yards from several good cafés/restaurants and from Rick Stein’s prestigious Sandbanks restaurant.
