Sandy View is a first floor apartment situated less than a minute’s walk from the glorious sandy beach of Beadnell Bay. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, this delightful apartment boasts tasteful furnishings throughout and a private balcony offering views of the bay and beyond. Beadnell is rightly popular as a holiday destination as it offers something for everyone. Its glorious scenic beach not only provides a spectacular backdrop for a walk, hike, stroll or birdwatching, but is a well known bay for water sports including sailing, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, kite surfing and scuba diving (please bring own beach towels).
Beadnell Bay can truly be described as a jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown. Beadnell village is as picturesque as it is welcoming, and is less than a mile away from Sandy View. It offers a well stocked village shop, two cafés and a family friendly pub serving good food and local ales.
2 miles up the coast is the traditional fishing village of Seahouses where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands depart regularly from its harbour. In Seahouses, you will find several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs, restaurants and shops, with horse riding, fishing and excellent golf courses close by. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the famous village of Bamburgh whose spectacular castle and picture postcard look has attracted film makers from around the world, where Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle can be seen from the unspoilt beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle which was the film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts. Visitors can enjoy a trip to Alnwick Gardens, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the ’Grand Cascade’ waterfall, and a restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe. These gardens are enjoyed by young and old alike. Beach within a minute’s walk. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
