In the heart of the pretty village of Bidford-on-Avon with lots of local amenities including a choice of pubs, village shops, takeaways and restaurants right on the doorstep. This historic barn conversion has lots of quirky and traditional features including wooden beams and has been a well-loved family home for many years which they now wish to share with visitors and holidaymakers. With all the home from home facilities, an en-suite wet room to bedroom 1, a family bathroom on the first floor and a wet room on the ground floor as well as a study area, large living room and a separate sitting room on the first floor. There is lots of space and with a split terrace to the front and a small patio to the rear, you can enjoy the sunshine all day and evening.

Bidford-on-Avon as a settlement dates back to Roman times and is in the heart of Shakespeare Country, with the bridge as its centre piece dating back to the 15th century. Today, it has a fabulous mix of tranquillity, with walks through the meadow and along the river, to bustling pubs and bars with live bands and events going on throughout the summer. The river is a popular route with boats travelling from Stratford-upon-Avon to Tewkesbury, so on a nice summer’s day, have a picnic in the meadow and watch the world go by. A 10-minute drive will find you in Stratford-upon-Avon where you can find an abundance of shops, pubs, restaurants and historic houses, including William Shakespeare’s birthplace, or enjoy a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre. A short drive will take you into the beautiful Cotswolds, where you can take in the picturesque towns and villages and enjoy a traditional cream tea. The Vale of Evesham is close by and grows a variety of produce in the area, so be sure to stop at one of the many farm shops.
