Seaside Cottage is a beautiful, modern holiday home, set on a quiet private road in the desirable village of West Wittering. The owners have captivated the essence of the seaside with a cosy wood-clad living room and inviting window seating, the perfect spot for reading or relaxing with a cuppa. At the rear of the property is a stunning open plan kitchen/dining room, a great space for gathering with the family after a busy day exploring the beach. Or open the Crittall patio doors and let the sunshine in. There is also an additional toilet on the ground floor.
Outside there is a lovely, enclosed garden with seating area and outside shower- perfect for those sandy toes. Upstairs there are three bedrooms – two with kingsize beds and the third with bunk beds, perfect for children (the upper bunk bed is suitable for smaller children only).
West Wittering beach is a beautiful stretch of sand offering stunning views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The sea is popular with wind and kite surfers, while shallow lagoons are left on extensive, sandy flats at low tide. The area is internationally recognised for its wildlife birds and unique beauty. Chichester, ten miles north of West Wittering, is the beautiful cathedral city for Sussex and one of the great well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK. The city centre is neatly enclosed within the ancient city walls making Chichester compact and pleasant to explore on foot. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, and the Chichester Festival Theatre is worth booking. The cinema complex to the south of the city also makes for an enjoyable evening out. Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival Weekend, Fontwell Races, Weald and Downland Open Air Museum and Arundel with its historic castle, cathedral and wildfowl and wetland nature reserve are all close by. There are easy road links to many other sightseeing areas such as Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower, the historic ships of Mary Rose and Nelson’s Victory and Gunwharf Quay with its waterside dining and designer shopping outlets.
