Outside, the gorgeous garden has a wonderful eight-person hot tub and fabulous outdoor dining set for enjoying barbecue’s, brunches or breakfast in the sunshine. If you can bear to tear yourselves away, there is so much to do nearby, from lazing on the beach, strolling around the marina, sampling the many restaurants or indulging in some retail therapy. For the walkers among us, the Jurassic Coastline has plenty of trail walks, make sure you take in the sites of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, you do not want to forget the camera for this trip. Closer to the property, Portland is a 10-minute drive, which is home of the 2012 Olympic Sailing Academy, Chesil Beach, the renowned Portland Bill Lighthouse, plus many more. The market town of Dorchester is about a 20-minute drive, where you will find local markets, museums, restaurants and bars. Further afield, you can take a trip to the Historic Tank Museum or have a day roaming around Monkey World. Beach 1 mile.
