Both the cottage and the location offer an ideal escape from busy day-to-day life and provides stunning open views of the glen towards The Minch and outer isles. Glendale is nearby and offers seasonal cafes and a number of specialist craft studios. A lovely walking area with local fishing from the rocks. Neist Point Lighthouse is only 4 miles away. The island has so much to offer to the outdoor enthusiast, with walking for all levels from The Black Cuillin for the experienced climber to low-level walking. Boat trips are available for spotting sea eagles or the seal colonies and other pursuits include fishing, kayaking, pony trekking and mountain biking. Dunvegan is also only a short drive away where you will find the pristine coral beaches, Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, MacLeod’s Tables and Portree, which is the island’s capital for shopping, restaurants and a cinema in the Aros visitor centre.
