In an elevated position next to Pulpit Hill Viewpoint, and with stunning views to the Western Isles and Oban Bay just outside the front gate, this detached holiday home is in a perfect location for exploring the west coast of Scotland. The large kitchen/dining room leads into a bright living room, all enjoying views of Ben Cruachan, taking in a breath of air by the spacious balcony, with tables and chairs for alfresco dining and entertaining. Known as the Seafood Capital of the UK, Oban has many excellent restaurants and boasts a distillery, cinema, leisure centre and a variety of shops. From the bustling harbour, regular ferries leave for many of the Isles including Mull, Staff and Iona. Oban is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and wildlife is abundant with dolphins, otters, porpoise and sea eagles. Inveraray Jail, Cruachan Hollow Mountain and Bonawe Ironworks make for great days out and there are plenty of wonderful gardens and historic castles to visit. Popular outdoor activities are available nearby with kayaking, cycling and walking to name but a few.
