A stunning house, nestled in the heart of the historic village of Kinlochleven, surrounded by magnificent mountains, lochs and glens, with the West Highland Way and the Mamore Mountains on your doorstep.
This fantastic property offers a wonderful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can relax on the comfortable sofas and enjoy a great movie together on the Smart TV, or just sit back and enjoy the spectacular mountain views in front of the roaring wood burner. There are also French doors in the lounge area that leads directly outside to the fully enclosed garden, with hot tub and seating area. Delight in preparing fresh local produce in the well-equipped bespoke stylish kitchen with sliding doors leading through to the utility room.
There is a double bedroom on the ground floor served by a stylish shower room with large walk-in shower. In the garden, you will find the private hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring this scenic area. There is also a seating area with charcoal BBQ, where you can enjoy al fresco dining whilst admiring the spectacular mountain views or stargazing on the clear Highland nights. There is private off-road parking for three cars with further on-street parking available.
The area is renowned for its breath-taking scenery and has been used as the backdrop for many famous films, including Harry Potter, Rob Roy and Braveheart. Kinlochleven has a mountain activity centre, bike hire, museum with visitor centre, friendly local inns, shops, a small grocery store, cafes and takeaways as well an indoor ice climbing centre. Enjoy a ride on the famous Jacobite Steam Train from Fort William to Mallaig or travel up Aonach Mor mountain in a fantastic gondola at Nevis Range.
Glencoe, just 7 miles’ distant, is a lovely highland village with many amenities including a minimarket, cafe, hotel, pub, filling station, church and dentists and there are some fabulous restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby, all serving good, local food. Steeped in history, Glencoe is surrounded by the most breath-taking scenery of mountains and lochs and offers a large range of sports and outdoor activities, including winter sports, hill walking, climbing, mountaineering, fishing and water sports, mountain biking and golfing.
Svarga is conveniently located, lying between Fort William and Ben Nevis in the Lochaber area (28 miles), known as the ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’, and the popular town of Oban, the ‘Seafood Capital of Scotland’ and ‘Gateway to the Isles’ (40 miles).
