Sylverda is a great little bungalow situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac close to the owners home, on the outskirts of Scarborough. Take advantage of the uninterrupted views, the large panoramic windows at the front give you fantastic views of the ships going by. The owners’ once watched the Queen Mary sail past on her visit to Scarborough. The bungalow is spacious and has a large fenced garden, perfect for those who like to bring their dog along. Scarborough has a lovely long promenade, the hustle and bustle of the South Bay leads onto the quieter North Bay, and the castle is perched on the hill separating the two bays. There’s plenty of restaurants as well as the Stephen Joseph Theatre, and the largest open air theatre in Europe. Bridlington, Filey and the North Yorkshire Moors are just a short drive away. Catch the steam train from Pickering to Whitby, calling at Goathland, where the TV series Heartbeat was filmed. The city of York is less than an hours’ drive away. It is easily accessible by car or by train direct from Scarborough. There’s plenty of museums and places of interest to visit including The Railway Museum. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs are just a few minutes’ drive away, where you can see puffins, guillemots and seals in their natural habitat.
