There is even an adventure playground for the children.
If fishing is your passion, you can walk/cycle easily to Auldernauk Fishery from the property, a most attractive and well stocked three acre fly-only loch holding good sized rainbow, blue, brown and tiger trout; it is a quiet and friendly family-owned fishery run by anglers. If you can tear yourself away for a day sightseeing, the area is renowned for its rugged beauty, from beautiful sandy beaches, cliff top walks and forest trails. The world renowned 7Stanes mountain biking routes are also within easy reach. The area is well recognised for its clear skies as one of the 12 best stargazing sites in the world, with the Galloway Forest Park being the first Dark Sky Park in the UK.
