The Barn at Banks Cottage is located at the edge of Pulborough Brooks, with misty atmospheric dawns in winter to the bright blossoming of spring through to sun drenched summer - there is no season this cottage can’t be enjoyed in.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds works tirelessly to preserve our beautiful indigenous wildlife, and there is nowhere better from which to admire their work. Relax on the patio with a pair of binoculars and a cup of coffee, or take a lengthy amble around the water’s edge to see what birdsong you can identify. With the local pub a pleasant 20 minute walk away, pop out for lunch or enjoy a hearty dinner in the evening.
If history is more your thing, then Parham Estate and Gardens is nearby where you can explore the incredible Elizabethan home and grounds. With plenty of events throughout Easter and summer, it is well worth seeing what might be on at your time of visit.
The accommodation itself has been renovated to a fantastic standard, with a luxurious kitchen, artistic log burning stove and two very comfortable bedrooms. It is perfectly cosy in winter and has a pretty patio garden to be enjoyed in summer. Pilates and personal training can also be arranged.
