The stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains offer breath-taking scenery and fabulous walking, and there are several waterfalls within a 20-minute drive. For those who enjoy walking then Garwnant Visitors Centre in the Brecon Beacons is a great place to take the kids - plenty of walks to be had and a great play park. Dare Valley Park is a great place for taking in the nature and listening to the birds with 500 acres of pond dipping.
