Once inside, you’re greeted by an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, which makes this a fantastic space to socialise at the end of a day’s exploring this diverse island. On the first floor there are two bedrooms; one with bunk beds for children, and a further double and a shower room with shower. To the rear of the cottage is a spacious enclosed garden area with seating and barbecue. Within walking distance of the town is the charming Amlwch Port, home to breath-taking scenery and the Copper Kingdom Centre, once the largest copper mine in the world. There’s an abundance of magnificent coastal paths. Take one from here all the way to Point Lynas Lighthouse and uncover the industrial workings of Parys Mountain. Bull Bay is less than two miles distant, where you can paddle the clear waters, kayak, paddle board or relax and spot the local wildlife of seals which frequent the shores or try your hand at sea fishing. Just a little further is the village of Cemaes, home to two fabulous beaches where you can soak up the sun, indulge in fresh fish and chips or simply just watch the world go by at the scenic harbour.
