Situated on the stunning west coast of Scotland, The Boathouse sits on the shores of Loch Aline, on the Ardtornish Estate on the Morvern peninsula. A traditional stone and slate building, airy in summer and cosy in winter, the Boat House was converted some years ago and is centred on a light but snug split level dining/living room. There are magnificent all round views across Loch Aline and a delightful terrace opening out from the French windows. The well equipped kitchen has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The Boat House sleeps five comfortably. The three bedrooms include a double with en-suite shower & toilet, one single and one with bunk beds. There is a further separate bathroom with toilet. With outdoor furniture on the terrace to soak up the magnificent loch views, perfect for an afternoon or summer evenings with your favourite aperitif, or a lazy afternoon of fishing. From your delightful seashore terrace observe the otters and sea eagles that are frequently seen. Take time to explore this spectacular estate from the gardens, fresh water lochs, castles, and woodlands rich with wildlife.
A wonderful escape for family holidays in one of the most spectacular regions in Scotland. Ardtornish Estate is not just a beautiful spot on the West Coast of Scotland. It’s also a special place where heritage meets country living, and a community comes together with a shared passion, to breathe life into a magical Highland estate, and to welcome visitors from near and far to discover the charm of Ardtornish. For generations, visitors have made Ardtornish Estate their own, exploring every corner of the estate from garden to glens and from riverbank to hill lochs. The estate is here for your enjoyment, and new discoveries lie around every corner, so grab your walking boots, fishing rod, wetsuit or camera and head out into your very own adventure playground.
