Bishop’s Waltham nearby has interesting places to visit such as the 12th century ruins of Bishop’s Waltham Palace, the museum, and the Roman Church. Marwell Zoo is just a 15-minute drive away. Paulton Park, home of Peppa Pig World, is 30 minutes’ drive away. The naval city of Portsmouth is 14 miles away, with its historic dockyard, home to Nelson’s Victory and The Mary Rose, along with waterside dining, extensive designer shops at Gun Wharf Quays and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight.
