Discover this beautiful part of west Wales from The Chapel Barn, surrounded by meadows on the edge of a wooded valley this beautiful barn conversion has been restored to its former glory and is a short walk away from the rural hamlet of Penrhiwllan. This quint hamlet is home to the Daffodil a traditional Welsh country pub and restaurant offering fantastic food and locally brewed ales and a village shop. It is also midway between the market town of Newcastle Emlyn and the town of Llandysul complete with shops, restaurants and antique shops with the famous salmon river the River Teifi meandering through the town. The Chapel Barn is nestled adjacent to the owners home and is mostly all on one level with a bright and airy open plan kitchen, diner and living room, the bespoke contemporary style kitchen and the living room are ideal to enjoy some family time together and have been finished to a high standard. The master bedroom has been lovingly finished to a high standard with comfort in mind, the quirky twin room is located on a mezzanine level.
The Cardigan Bay is around a 25-minute drive where you can uncover this stunning coastline with picture post card coves, sandy beaches and dramatic coastline and for the more sporty, there are plenty of outdoor activities available including cycle routes, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and a canoe centre at Llandysul. Just a few miles further inland the scenic Teifi Valley offers excellent opportunities for fishing as well as attractions such as the Teifi Valley Railway, the National Wool Museum, the National Coracle Centre and falls at Cenarth. The market town of Cardigan has several arts venues and interesting independent shopping with a beautiful castle. Travelling further south, you can visit the coastal resort and famous walled town of Tenby, here you can walk the cobbled streets, enjoy fish and chips on the harbour or enjoy the golden sandy beach. Pub within 1 mile. Beach 10 miles.
