Secure storage for bikes is also available should you wish to bring your bike and sample some of the scenic cycle routes close by. The Cottage is in an ideal location for both families, friends and ramblers to have a memorable staycation. Don’t forget to look out for Lincoln red cattle which graze in the surrounding fields.

The east coast and the seaside resort of Skegness, which has been a popular destination for many generations, is a 30-minute drive where you can enjoy all the traditional seaside attractions, and many miles of unspoilt beaches to stroll alongside the sea. Travel more inland from The Cottage and within about a 45-minute drive you have the historic city of Lincoln which is famous for its stunning cathedral. Horncastle is the closest town, which is full of independent cafés, pubs restaurants, shops and supermarkets and is definitely worth visiting on a day out. Lincolnshire Aviation Centre is 15 minutes’ drive away where you can see Just Jane, the WWII Lancaster Bomber which does regular taxi runs up and down the runway. After a day exploring you can then return to your cottage for a cosy evening in front of the wood burner or a spend a relaxed evening in the hot tub whilst taking in the fantastic views which surround this superb holiday home.
