The Creagan in Corrie is a traditional detached cottage, set in an elevated position, offering fabulous sea views. The village of Corrie runs along the east coast of Arran and is just 6 miles from the main village of Brodick. It is a common spot to watch seals bobbing around in the sea, and some lucky people will even catch a glimpse of a pod of dolphins at times.
This coastal property is located up a hill, just off the main road, allowing these wonderful, uninterrupted sea views to be enjoyed from the decking. Inside this cosy cottage, many traditional features have been retained, such as the internal doors, the wooden panelling, original roll-top bath and the open fire in the living room. The wood burner in the kitchen/dining area adds to the cottage feel, allowing guests to relax in a warm and cosy atmosphere. During the warmer months, you can open up the patio doors from the dining area out onto the decking, and bring the outside in. The decking is a great place to relax in the sun with a glass of wine, after enjoying an adventure around the Isle of Arran.
For those not wanting to travel too far, just wander down to the local hotel for some lunch and drinks in the seaside-located beer garden, or taste some seafood dishes in the local fish deli. Corrie also has a children’s play park, and the local village hall and hotel hold events and live music at times throughout the year. The Creagan at Corrie is also perfect for a weekend break. Beach 1 mile. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
