The Cwtch is nestled between Abergavenny 8 miles and Monmouth 9 miles and is surrounded by rolling hills and countryside and is on Offa’s Dyke footpath. The Cwtch has a fabulous feel the moment you walk through the doors with a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area with wood burner for those cosier nights in. There is a decked area to the rear of the garden with views over the Skirrid mountain. The bedroom on the first floor has triple aspect with a stunning view. If walking or cycling is your thing, then Abergavenny is the gateway to the mountains, including the Sugarloaf, the Blorenge. There is easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains. Take a trip into Monmouth town, the main high street has a range of amenities, including shops, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. The town is steeped in history and a visit to Monmouth Castle is a must along with the Monnow Bridge and Gate. Spend the day at Monmouth Museum or take a visit to the lost city of Trelleck, where they offer archaeological dig experiences. The area is also perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with a range of walking opportunities including National Trust Kymin offering spectacular views over the rolling hills of Monmouthshire. The Forest of Dean is a short drive from Monmouth with an abundance of things to do and see such as Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood and Dean Forest Railway. Pub 400 yards.
