This is the perfect base for a family or a couple looking to explore everything that Devon has to offer. As you enter the property, you will be welcomed into the open plan kitchen, living and dining area which is comfortably furnished with seating, a Smart TV with Freeview and a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal, and this then leads to the garden which is a real suntrap, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The garden is shared with the owner who lives next door and it is accessed via 7 steps which lead to the lawn and outdoor seating area. Discover the two quaint bedrooms upstairs along with the family shower room. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds.
Stokeinteignhead is a charming village with a community shop where you can fill up on necessities, a local pub dating back to the 17th century, and a variety of walks from the cottage including the South West Coastal Path and along the Teign Estuary, a great place for bird watching and nature lovers.
Nearby Shaldon, which is situated at the mouth of the Teign Estuary on the edge of the English Riviera and Torbay, is an idyllic little fishing village with quaint cottages and narrow winding streets. Visit the award winning Ness beach by walking through the ’Smugglers Tunnel’, or stroll around the village and visit Shaldon Zoo and Homeyards Botanical Gardens.
Exeter is an easily accessible medieval city best known for its beautiful cathedral, and the nearby Dartmoor National Park also offers a multitude of walking and cycling options.
