Iken is a very beautiful and peaceful spot in Suffolk. The views along the estuary back towards Snape Maltings are stunning and the walk along the river provides a wonderful opportunity to spot lots of different birds and wildlife including the odd seal basking in the sunshine.
Snape and Snape Maltings have a number of good places to eat whether you are looking for a snack or a more substantial meal. The Plough and Sail and Golden Key both have local produce at the heart of their cooking. The Maltings has a wide-ranging programme of events and concerts on offer throughout the year with lots to entertain.
