This is a large spacious apartment occupying three floors and wonderful sea views from some of the rooms. The apartment benefits from having three bathrooms, making it suitable for larger groups with a maximum occupancy of 10 people. The living room is a great social area with a view of the harbour.
Bridlington is still a very busy working harbour with fishermen bringing in their catch early morning. The town centre has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Spa Theatre which is just a short walk from the property, and provides a wealth of international acts and entertainment throughout the year. It also has an excellent leisure centre with splash pools and climbing walls and lovely, wide, sandy beaches which are flat and great for your children.
From the seafront, there is a lovely walk along the cliff tops to the village of Sewerby, or if you prefer a more leisurely route, you can take the land train. Sewerby Hall stands proud on the headland, a wonderful stately home open to the public and well worth a visit during your stay. The beautiful tended gardens and grounds are delightful and a great place to have a picnic. There’s a small zoo for the children plus lots of activities they can get involved in.
The seaside resorts of Filey, Flamborough Head and Scarborough are a short drive away and the famous RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is not to be missed. Here you can see puffins and other migrating seabirds. This is a great base to see what Yorkshire has to offer, from the rolling Yorkshire Wolds to the North Yorkshire Moors and the east coast, there’s something for everybody. Beach 200 yards. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
