What a little gem of a cottage! The Haven is an absolute joy and has been completely refurbished in 2020, offering the most delightful accommodation. You really will not be disappointed when you walk through the door. The living room has a lovely wood burner and the kitchen/dining room are both modern and spacious, yet retain a lovely cottage feel. You will be spoilt for choice at The Haven, whether to sink into the deep bath or enjoy the dark skies in the garden from your very own hot tub. The garden to the rear can be accessed from the kitchen with seven steps leading down from the balcony and the garden is enclosed.
From The Haven some of you may be in heaven again, as 200 yards along the road is Bladnoch Distillery, which has a large visitor shop and offers guided tours. Just across the road from the Distillery is a lovely country pub and restaurant. Only a mile away is Wigtown, known as Scotland’s book town, which provides a variety of shops, galleries, tea rooms and a pub.
