On-site facilities are available for use at an additional cost, including a beautiful play area and picturesque grounds perfect for exploring. If you take a stroll past the play area, through a gate, and into the woodland, you’ll reach the Quay, a peaceful spot to enjoy the scenery. Along the way, be sure to pause at a bench with outstanding views of St Mawes—a perfect place to take in the breathtaking landscape. For beach lovers, a family-friendly beach is just a two-minute drive or a 15-minute walk away. With a lovely tearoom and essential facilities, it’s easy to spend an entire day by the shore, soaking up the sun and enjoying the calm waters.
The Roseland Peninsula is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering plenty to explore. Discover charming villages like Veryan and Portscatho, or take a bus to St Mawes, where you can visit St Mawes Castle, relax on the beach, or hop on a ferry to Falmouth, the town is built around the harbour, cobbled streets are full of small shops, pubs and restaurants. While you are here wander around Pendennis Castle and explore the coastal paths.
