In a popular area for holiday letting as you are in proximity of the many attractions this fabulous coastal town boasts. At the front of the apartment, there is a communal outdoor area with picnic benches where you can soak up the sunshine over a cup of coffee or al fresco breakfast as you plan the days. Stepping inside through the communal entrance the hallway leads you into the Hyding Hole named after Hyding Yard which is tucked away at the foot of the beautiful Pannett Park. The park is beautiful throughout the seasons and has a great playpark for little ones. The apartment opens out into an open-plan living room, with a kitchenette and a dining table in front of the large sash windows. The corner sofa sits in front of the marble feature fireplace, where you can unwind after a busy day. There is a large glass-fronted sliding wardrobe in here which is ideal for storing suitcases/pushchairs. The bedroom is well presented with a double bed as well as built-in wardrobes. The apartment is complete with a shower room. Free on-street parking is nearby around a 5-minute walk away.
Whitby is a well-loved holiday destination due to its colourful history and its old-world charm. Quirky cobbled streets lined with independent shops and cafés as well as trendy cocktail and gin bars overlooking the harbour. Taste fresh seafood from award-winning restaurants, discover tales of Vikings, vampires, smugglers, and pirates, and soak up the picturesque scenery. You are in an ideal location to explore Whitby, as well as the beautiful surrounding coastline and National Park. Your much-loved family pet is welcome to join you and they will be in heaven discovering the nearby beaches as well as the many walking trails nearby. This is a very dog-friendly area, with many pubs and cafes welcoming dogs, and even a dog bakery, which creates homemade dog treats!
As well as Whitby you have the nearby coastal villages and towns of Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough and Filey to the south and Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Saltburn to the north. Inland you have the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with ancient forests and expanses of moorland. You are surrounded by areas of incredible natural beauty. Through all seasons this is a wonderful destination to explore. Perfect for a romantic breakaway.
