Set in the heart of the tiny village of Pool of Muckhart in the Devon valley, just 11 miles south of Gleneagles, these cosy stone holiday cottages make a perfect base for exploring this lovely area. Stirling, 17 miles, has the ancient Wallace Monument and the castle to see, while Perth, 25 miles, has a wonderful concert hall, and excellent theatre, one of the oldest in Scotland.
